Tomorrow is the 8th day of the 8th month, and according to star gazers, the LIONS GATE is most potent, but how do we work with this energy?
THE LIONS GATE opened on the 26th July, and will close on the 12th August, but this years activation is flowing directly into the clearing and rebirth energy of a Solar Eclipse (12th), and NEW Moon in Leo (13th), so it’s a powerful time to activate, release, and renew. The cosmic alignment of Earth, the Sun in Leo, and Sirius (the spiritual sun) empowers us to claim our highest truth. In numerology, the number 8 represents power, success, karmic balance, cause – effect, and infinity. Whatever thoughts, habits, and patterns we feed into this infinity loop will repeat and cycle back to us.
Where is YOUR energy flowing?
what are you feeding?
The 8th of the 8th is a powerful window to manifest, so ask yourself …
- Who would I be if I stopped living by other people’s expectations?
- Does the way I spend my daily time align with my true purpose?
- What am I ready to stop carrying?
- What old habits am I releasing?
- What version of myself am I currently stepping into?
- What do I want to invite or welcome into my life next?
- What NEW life path am I choosing?
The August sky is creating some interesting conversations, and each planetary alignment brings another theme, lesson and energy to work with, but retrograding planets are inviting us to slow down, and look back.
There’s a story playing out for us this Eclipse season … and it’s on purpose.
First, Pluto went retrograde (6th May – 15th October) – Pluto’s themes are around transformation, power, rebirth, and the underworld. Hidden truths are rising into our awareness, so we can release unsupportive patterns no longer serving our highest good. Clearing heavy emotional weight creates space for a higher vibrational timeline, but only if we let go of old habits, feel our emotions fully, and set clear boundaries to protect our new energy.
Then, Neptune went retrograde (7th July – 12th Dec) – Neptune’s themes are around dreams, imagination, spirituality, mysticism, and the subconscious. This will feel like the reality check we need, to dissolve any illusions and fantasies, so we don’t keep repeating the same lessons.
Then, Saturn went retrograde (26th July – 10th Dec) – Saturn’s themes are around responsibility, structure, and discipline. According to the star gazers Saturn rules Capricorn (my SUN), and Aquarius (my MOON). Karmic patterns end, soul contracts align, past cycles close, and our efforts start to pay off.
- Every choice has a consequence
- Every intention creates a chain reaction
- Every lesson has a purpose
- Every delay protects us
- Every challenge prepares us
The collective story will be impacting on us all in some way, shape or form, but our personal narratives create a ripple effect on the collective story.
Chiron going retrograde on the 3rd will be triggering old wounds that still bleed so we can look at it from another perspective, and release the past – because those experiences have already served their purpose.
Chrion asks us to honour our needs, wants and desires …
- Where have I been carrying wound energy?
- How has this been holding me back from valuing myself?
- How safe do I feel to receive?
- Am I holding back in fear?
- How deeply do I trust life to support me?
- Can I allow myself to be nourished?
- Do I feel connected to the rhythm of life?
“Chiron energy will call out victimisation and emotional avoidance, it’s achingly truthful and it will open up the scars that didn’t fully heal.” (Romy)
According to astrology, we have core wounds, …
Earth Signs (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn): “carry core spiritual and psychological wounds centred on survival, service, and self worth. Their deep-seated pain rarely erupts outward, but compresses inward, masking feelings of inadequacy through overworking, self-control, physical or emotional rigidity.”
Fire Signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius): “share a collective elemental core wound rooted in selfhood: the deep seated fear that they are not allowed to exist, shine or lead as their authentic selves. Their aggressive vitality masks a fragile inner shame of being “too much” or fundamentally unacceptable.”
Air Signs (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius): “share core emotional wounds centred around intellectual validation, miscommunication, and belonging. Instead of processing raw feelings directly, they overthink or detach from pain, fearing their messy selves are too burdensome or unlovable to be accepted.”
Water signs (Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces) : “share a core existential wound rooted in the belief that “my heart is unsafe”. Because they feel emotions and absorb the energy of others so deeply, their foundational trauma usually centers on emotional abandonment, rejection of their vulnerability, and the fear of being overwhelmed or drowned by pain.’
Our pain has purpose, and it can become our greatest teacher, so if you are in the deep end of your healing journey, BE GENTLE with yourself because you are transmuting pain into wisdom, strength and a deeper sense of self worth.
As we approach the The Solar Eclipse on the 12th the divine masculine (SUN) merges with the divine feminine (MOON) to clear out old emotional debris, close chapters, transmute shadow, complete karmic cycles, and release outdated versions of our identity, so our energy can be renewed.
“The Divine Feminine is being called deeper into her intuition, self-worth, receptivity, creativity, emotional truth, sacred power, and ability to love without abandoning herself. The Divine Masculine is being called deeper into his heart, integrity, courage, purpose, emotional presence, protection, responsibility, and ability to stand firmly within his authentic power without closing himself to love.”
I love and embrace the depth this energy is bringing, but the shift is challenging me to keep LETTING GO, and that always triggers stories of loss, but I’m stepping out of the past, releasing old pain, and reclaiming my worth.
Our fate is the cards we are dealt …
and our destiny is determined by how we choose to play✨
